What Makes Root Destroyer Stand Out?

Available in three sizes 5lb, 2lb, and 1lb

Root Destroyer is made up of copper sulfate crystals that will kill invasive septic and sewer pipe roots without harming your tree. Regular use of a root killer can help to prevent root growth and extend the lifespan of sewer lines, saving money and reducing the need for costly repairs.

Apply up to 2 lb. Root Destroyer two times per year or anytime a reduced water flow thought to be caused by root growth occurs. Using one-half pound increments, pour Root Destroyer into the toilet bowl nearest the sewer line and flush; repeat this process until the recommended dose has been added. Or, remove cleanout plug and pour entire recommended amount directly into the sewer line; replace plug and flush the toilet several times.

Treat when reduced flow is first noticed. Don't wait until complete stoppage occurs; some flow is necessary to move the product to the root growth.

After roots have accumulated sufficient Root Destroyer (usually 3-4 weeks), the roots will die and begin to decay, and water flow should increase.

Apply 2 lb. of Root Destroyer 2x per year or anytime a reduced water flow thought to be caused by root growth occurs.

Pour 1/2 lb in toilet nearest sewer line & flush; repeat until recommended dose is added. Do not apply through sink or tub drains.

Root Destroyer will settle in the septic tank itself and little will pass into the leach lines. To treat leach line pipes, add up to 2 lb. of Root Destroyer to the distribution box located between the septic tank and the leach lines. To achieve effective root control in the leach lines, it is necessary to transfer Root Destroyer from the septic tank to the leach lines. A cleanout plus opening may need to be installed if the distribution box does not have an opening leading to the leach lines.

Root Destroyer is EPA Registered and a NSF Certified Material
